Deephaven Beaches

1. Deephaven Main Beach

Deephaven's main beach has these amenities: beach has a swimming dock, a sports court, playground equipment, a sun arbor, picnic tables and grill. Lifeguard hours are from 10:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.  the beach also has a marina, boat launch, sportscourt, boardwalk, walking path, and playground.

 2. Sandy Beach

Available Amenities: swimming dock and picnic table. Lifeguard hours are from noon - 6 p.m.

 3. Rocky Beach

No lifeguards are stationed at this beach, but there is a swimming dock.

4. Walden Beach

 No lifeguards are stationed at this beach, but there is a swimming beach, picnic tables and parking.

5. Robinson's Bay Beach

Amenities include restrooms, swimming dock, off-street parking and picnic table. Lifeguard hours are from noon - 6 p.m.

Excelsior Beaches

6. Excelsior Commons Beach

Excelsior Commons Beach is located at the corner of the Lake and Water St. Amenities include concession stand, picnic areas, ball fields, playground equipment, tennis courts, beach area with bath house, and a band shell. Lifeguards are on duty from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Minnetrista Beaches

7. Lake Minnetonka Regional Park Swimming Pond 

If you don't like swimming with the fishes, Three Rivers Park District's man-made swimming pond (with chlorinated water) is your answer. The 1.75-acre swimming pond at Lake Minnetonka has a maximum depth of six feet and is completely surrounded by sand. The pond features filtered, chlorinated water, a changing shelter, concessions, and large beach umbrellas for shade. A pass is required. The pond is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Mound Beaches

8. Mound Bay Park Beach (boat dock area)

The largest of Mound's beaches. Offering sand volleyball courts, playground equipment, grills, picnic tables and toilets. You can also pull a boat up to the docks provided by the city and enjoy the beach.

9. Centerview Beach

Ammenities: beach, fishing pier, picnic tables and
toilets.

10. Wychwood Beach

Wychwood Beach is a smaller beach with limited parking and has picnic tables and toilets.

Shorewood

11. Crescent Beach

Crescnet Beach is small sandy beach that is is staffed with lifeguards from the first part of June through Mid-August and from noon - 7 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
A swimming dock is provide and the swimming area is roped off.

Tonka Bay

12. Wakota Beach

Wakota Beach amenities include: Beach, grills, playground equipment, picnic tables, and tennis courts. 

Lifeguards: noon - 6 p.m.

Wayzata

13. Wayzata (Marina) Beach (Boat Access)

Marina Beach has a full service beach with lifeguards on staff from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Amenities: boat access, drinking water, electrical outlets, picnic area, restroom, volleyball courts and playground equipment.
